A peptide is a short chain of amino acids linked by peptide bonds — smaller than a protein, larger than a single amino acid. A research peptide is one manufactured and sold for laboratory experimentation: characterising a mechanism, running an assay, validating an analytical method. It is not a medicine and carries no approved therapeutic indication.

A Certificate of Analysis is the independent lab report for a specific production lot. It documents compound identity (usually by mass spectrometry), purity (by HPLC), the lot number and the date of analysis. Published certificates are on our Analysis page; to get the one matching your vial, send us the lot number printed on the label through the contact page.
Our specification is 99% HPLC purity. The figure that matters is the one on the certificate for your particular lot, not a number on a marketing page — which is why every lot has its own COA rather than a single site-wide claim.
Lyophilised (freeze-dried) peptide is stable for long periods when kept cold, dark and dry — typically −20 °C for extended storage. Once reconstituted, stability drops sharply: refrigerate and use within the window appropriate to that compound. Repeated freeze–thaw cycles degrade material, so aliquot rather than thawing the same vial repeatedly.
Solvent is added slowly down the inside wall of the vial — never squirted directly onto the powder — and the vial is swirled, not shaken, until dissolved. Bacteriostatic water is used where a preserved multi-use solution is wanted; sterile water where no preservative is acceptable. We cover the full procedure in our Research Center.

These are research chemicals whose integrity depends on storage and handling conditions we cannot verify once the package leaves our control, so returned material cannot be resold. What we do cover, at no cost to you: if the wrong item arrived, the shipment was damaged in transit, or items were missing, we refund or replace it.
